Sometimes children play with the oddest things like cardboard boxes. This weekend Milo and Luca fell in love with an IKEA shelf (mama-purchased and father-assembled). The buckets even ended up being choo-choo trains.

We had lots of pool time this hot weekend (100° on Saturday). Friday evening at Director’s Park and Saturday morning at Sellwood Pool for the twin summer party.

We did spent a bit of time inside trying to stay cool. Question: Where do children get all their super power energy? Or maybe the question should be when did we adults get so sluggish? Milo and Luca have been putting on their own Olympics show in our living room.

Field

That’s their word for Cleveland High’s track which we visit multiple times during the week. We’ve made the mistake before where we have a change of plans while heading to the track (i.e. organized soccer games, track meets, etc.) and boy do we pay for it. The boys will scream “FIELD! FIELD! FIELD!!!” as we’re turning the stroller in the opposite direction.
