Memorial Day Weekend

At noon on Friday, I was set free from work to celebrate the long weekend. Woohoooo! I love you W+K!

After a strong margarita and delicious tacos at Por Que No, I was fueled for fun. Actually, that’s not true. I passed out on the living room floor for half an hour (it felt like two). Once I woke up, we packed up the boys and headed to the toddler park at Wilshire Park. It was such a perfect warm day in Portland. Milo threw a fit when we left the park. All wasted tears since we were headed to Salt & Straw for some ice cream!

One lucky mother.

Me and Milo

Me and Luca

Something changed in me when M & L were born. It's very simple but monumental at the same time. Motherhood made me realize how little time I have with my children and how much MORE time I want to spend with them. It's funny to say but Motherhood makes me want to be with them always. And to think of not living forever, stings my eyes (and nose) with tears. It’s an odd feeling.
