Surviving Solids

Boy, has it been a long, ten days since we last blogged. The babies have been on a diarrhea-rash roller coaster. Their digestive systems just couldn’t handle their first taste of avocado. On top of their diarrhea, they had awful, painful diaper rash. Poor things had many tearful diaper changes (very painful to witness). We tried everything under the sun: Butt Paste, Huggies, Pampers, Earth’s Best, Triple Cream and drying with a hair dryer.  Instead of just changing them once after their meal, we’ve been changing them before and after the meals (sometimes 3x). It makes for a very long day (just ask Dominic).
