Dominic brought the twins to my office on Friday. Every year, Wieden + Kennedy puts on a great family-friendly Halloween party (includes inflatable castle, miniature pony rides, petting zoo, etc.). It was a mad scene—audio and visual overload. Children screaming and squealing in every quadrant. Milo and Luca were dressed as a penguin and giraffe.
On Halloween, we had three trick-or-treaters! Three! It was a pathetic showing. Do you know where all the children went? LLOYD CENTER MALL! It was disgusting. I went there at 5p.m. without a clue of the mayhem. Who takes their kids to the mall to trick-or-treat? These kids are missing out on the best part of running in the dark from house to house asking their neighbors for candy. I thought it was sad. Our kids will never trick-or-treat in a stinking mall.
